Over the Hornbeam hedge, this time live, is the fourth quarter which we have named BALANCE. Here we show a wide collection of plants which could be suitable for the warmer and stormy summer rainfall environment of, say, 50 years time.

Objective

Here we show a wide collection of plants which could be suitable for the warmer and stormy summer rainfall environment of, say, 50 years time.

Plan

The organization of the sectors spins clockwise around the Universal Window Box through domestic garden collections suiting higher temperatures and stormy rainfall. The crescent-shaped sectors are interrupted by a semicircular focal area occupied by a lawn partly mitigated by a fringe of long grass with wild flowers

Spatial organization

The quarter is defined by the scaffold board path, the tender shrubs and fruit and the Gingko biloba in the corner. The layout of shrubs, perennials and grasses focuses on the lawn, an arrangement commonly seen today.
